Windows 8 store to hit 40,000 apps tomorrow

According to The Next Web, the Windows 8 store will hit 40,000 applications tomorrow, with the store currently sitting at 39,860 applications.

Apparently Windows 8 is getting around 156 applications a day, but applications are only approved on Monday’s. Windows 8 is expected to hit 50,000 applications around the first week of April.
