The United States International Trade Commission has said that they will be reviewing a judges decision, which found that Apple didn’t violate patents owned by Samsung when making the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone.

If Apple was to be found to violate Samsung’s patents it could see Apple’s products banned for sale in the United States, which if happened would be a massive blow.

Apple and Samsung have been battling it out in courts with Apple even winning $1.05 billion in damages in a lawsuit against Samsung. This ruling is currently under appeal.

Samsung filed this lawsuit in 2011 and Judge James Gildea ruled that Apple didn’t violate four patents which Samsung used in the case.

Although they are not very friendly in court, Samsung makes quite a lot of parts for Apple’s products, producing memory, processors and screens for Apple’s products. As these legal battles get more fierce, Apple has begun to reduce orders from Samsung.
