A dozen UK iPhone users have filed a lawsuit against the search giant, due to Safari tracking.

“This is the first time Google has been threatened with a group claim over privacy in the U.K.,” Dan Tench, the plaintiffs lawyer said. “It is particularly concerning how Google circumvented security settings to snoop on its users. One of the things about Google is that it is so ubiquitous in our lives and if that’s its approach then it’s quite concerning.”

Google has had a similar case in the US, so getting the same sort of lawsuit brought up in a different country will be a bit of a blow for the company.
