Microsoft Surface sales are off to a “modest” start

According to Steve Ballmer, Microsoft Surface RT tablets are off to a modest start, with Ballmer saying that sales “are starting modestly.”

He claims that sales aren’t as good as they could’ve been because of the limits of sales channels. This is because the tablet is available at Microsoft Stores online and a few proper stores around the United States. This makes it particularly hard to go and try one live in person if you live outside of the States.
