HTC: Blame marketing for last years disaster
HTC’s CEO, Peter Chou has said that HTC hasn’t done enough on the marketing front which is to blame for their revenue decrease.
“Our competitors were too strong and very resourceful, pouring in lots of money into marketing,” he said. “We haven’t done enough on the marketing front.”
HTC has suffered their marketshare drastically falling last year, even though they had a strong 2011.
“We’ve got a great product. When I demo the camera, I always get a ‘wow’ reaction,” Jason MacKenzie, head of marketing at HTC told CNET. “We need to deliver that ‘wow’ in our communication.”
