I am an avid Google Chrome fan, but one thing I think Chrome really lacks in is bookmark separators.
Mozilla Firefox has separators and with my short experience with Firefox they were great help. I recently removed all of the text from my favourite sites on my bookmarks bar, and wanted some separators to break them up a little. But to my horror; Chrome doesn’t have that feature!
This guide isn’t a way to get a proper separator, but a cool trick you can do until Google wakes up and adds the feature.
Go to this website, bookmark the site to your Bookmarks Bar, remove the text and voilà! You now have a makeshift separator. The author of the image (known as inkyblob), also has some other variations of the separator (click on his/her username to see them).
Let me know what you think of this – I’m using it right now and love it!
