Amazon Prime in Canada

Amazon have now launched Prime in Canada however it will not have all the features that people in the US currently receive. There will not be eBook lending or video streaming available.

Starting from today, Canadians can buy a yearly subscription to Prime for $79. The service will be offering the unlimited 2 day shipping for the majority of the country however people in rural areas can have unlimited shipping but will not get the 2 days delivery part. Some lucky people in areas will be able to upgrade to 1 day shipping for $3.99 per item which is great!

Steve Olive, the country manager for Amazon.ca said that the shipping guarantee is good for millions of products on the site.

This service is expanding across the world continues to try and get more sales however they have no plans to add video streaming and eBook lending to Canada.
