13.6 percent of Android devices powered by Jelly Bean

Google has released new figures giving Android Jelly Bean 13.6 percent of the Android market share. Gingerbread though is still out on top with 45.6 percent of the market share, a version which was released a long time ago.

Ice Cream Sandwich is proving to be popular, with many companies beginning to upgrade some of their low-range phones to the operating system. Ice Cream Sandwich is sitting at 29 percent of the Android market, putting it quite a few steps ahead of Android’s latest version, Jelly Bean.
